We bought our 1950s split-level ranch style home in 2009. It had already been renovated when we bought it, so it was pretty move-in ready and didn't require any major updating. But over time, we've been trying to personalize our home. Make it ours. Up until this past year, it was pretty boring and our decor hadn't really changed much since we first moved in together years and years ago.
Beginning in 2011, I started getting the itch to redecorate our home - pretty much from top to bottom. It's a work in progress and I have a pretty minimal budget, but I'm having such a blast redecorating our house and daydreaming all the while!
